The prime rib roast is what we normally get Delmonicos or Rib-eyes from, but instead, we kept it as a whole rib roast. It is one of the most tender beef cuts and has generous marbling throughout, which results in a delicious, tender, and juicy piece of meat.
The rib roast is easy to cook and perfect for family gatherings: Start it in the oven at a high temperature to get browning on the outside, then lower the heat to cook evenly throughout. There is a fat cap that you can trim, but it's best to leave it on to keep in the juiciness. It’s best cooked to medium on the inside. Season with salt and pepper, a dry rub, or brine with herbs and spices to make a delicious crust.
These Roasts vary in sizes from 3.5 - 7 pounds, and while we would love to assure you you'll get the exact size you want, it depends on what is left in inventory. Let us know if you prefer a certain size, and we can try to pack it for you.
